Questions people ask before paying

Do I need a card to start?

No. The free plan is one mark, checked weekly on the App Store and any two URLs, and it stays free. Sign in with Google, Microsoft, GitHub or an email link.

What counts as a "watch"?

One mark -- one name you want watched. A watch carries its own sources, countries, schedule, rights holder, registrations and classes. Two product names are two watches.

What is in an evidence pack?

For each strong finding: a full-page screenshot, the page HTML and the store’s raw payload, each hashed, with a manifest SHA-256 and capture timestamp. The pack is a PDF that opens with your own listing, then the conflicts, then a prepared notice per finding and the filing guide.

Do you file the takedown for me?

No. Each platform requires the rights holder to file, and usually to swear to it. We write the notice, gather the evidence and walk you through the form; the submit button is yours. None of it is legal advice.

Can I add my own app so it is not flagged?

Yes, and you should. Add your seller name, bundle id or package name as an "own identifier" and your listings are filed as "own": never alerted, kept as dated proof of use, and cited in every notice.

What about trademark filings in other classes?

Set the Nice classes you use the mark in (software is usually 9 and 42). USPTO, EUIPO and UK IPO filings in those classes score in full; coordinated classes score a little lower; unrelated classes lower still, so a clothing brand with your name does not top your inbox.

Which trademark offices do you watch?

The USPTO through its own search API, the EUIPO through its eSearch, and the UK IPO through TMview, the EUIPO-run database that carries the UK register. Each hit comes with the applicant, status, Nice classes and the opposition deadline; the brief for it names the form, the fee and the window (three months at the EUIPO, two plus one at the UK IPO).

Do I need a registered trademark to use this?

No. Most app names are not registered, and the watch says plainly where that leaves you: the stores’ copycat and impersonation policies apply without one, and in the US and UK use earns rights on its own, but the registers’ tools (opposition, Google Play’s trademark form) need a registration. The watch shows the level -- registered, pending, store guidelines only, exposed -- and what the next step costs at each office.

Can I cancel?

Any time, from the account page. You drop to free at the end of the paid period and your watches beyond the free limit are paused, not deleted.

Is this for lawyers?

The agency plan is: a hundred marks with per-client rights holders, and evidence packs written so they go straight into a file. The rest of the product is for the developer who cannot afford one yet.
